Introduction to the 10 Key Formula Families

many-buddhas

We should see The 10 Key Formula Families out in print sometime in March. I am hoping you will find it as interesting to read, as I found it to translate. More importantly, I trust it will give you another lens to focus clinical reality.

Dr. Huang’s emphasis on constitutional types and herb presentations is a useful clinical tool that helps us to navigate the at times confusing world of herbal medicine.

Eastland Press and I are delighted to offer you a free eBook that gives a basic introduction to the 10 Key Formula Families. Just sign up for our spam-free mailing list, then follow the link to your free eBook.

hi, im so glad to hear about your ebook. i have been hearing a lot about dr huang lately and have the chinese versions of his 50 flavors and 10 types books. the reading is a bit slow but very interesting. when i first took a look at 10 types i thought ‘what a great translation project this would be, different, interesting, useful, and slender, i wonder if anyone is working on it?’ and here you are, i look forward to checking out your site and your translation. take care and thanks for the ebook, -alex

Yes, I thought the same thing, “nice slim book, it would be fun to translate.” It was, but Chinese has a way of expanding when noodled into English, so the English edition will be a bit thicker.

Hope you enjoy the eBook, and The 10 Key Formula Families when it comes out next month.

I have the book in front of me… congrats. From layout to content it looks and reads wonderfully. It should be as an important contribution to the English language CM library. I can see that this book will mark a big change and improvement to how (my) herbal formulas are written.
